Mind Map

We use mind mapping to visualize our idea into widely thought. We put anything in our mind even it is small idea. There are two types of mind map which is logical mind map and associated mind map. The meaning of logical mind map is it directly connected to stereotypes, stereotypes means the concept. It means every words in the mind map are connected to the subject. But, different with associated mind map. Associated mind map is the opposite of logical mind map. Associated mind map there is  no connection between the words.

With mind map, we can accustom our brain to think fast, and explore a small things into something. We can focusing an idea in mind map. So, if we want to make a product we just focus in what is related with the object. In mind map, we can thinking widely in limit time and improve creativity. Mind map is make us to organize our idea, it means that we have an idea, and if we want to make it more bigger there are must be a process of doing it. So, with mind map we can make the process.

The benefit of mind map is we can easily remember the information, and the concept. Mind map make us more interesting to doing things, we’ll not be confused of what we have to do. When we make mind map, make sure we added a lot of information even it is a simple information.

Essay on (Myself as a Leader)

THOUGH  LEADERSHIP

“Leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort, which is the price which all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile.” This quote by Vince Lombardi best explains and describes my thoughts and experiences about leadership because working hard is how I became the leader and the person I am today. Leaders are established by their actions, attitudes and decisions when working on goals or tasks. Everyone in a group looks to a positive, hard working person that is not afraid to take action and lead them in a direction that everyone believes is best. There is a fine line for leaders to get the consent of the team, but also keep the control of the group. Through hard work in my classrooms and outside of the classroom, I have risen to become a leader.

As a resident of Bangladeshi and living as an expatriate becoming a leader did not come quick or easy. I had to rely on working hard, which I had done for so many years before, to gain the knowledge from my surroundings besides my subjects and earn the trust of my teammates. This trust that I developed through hard work and knowledge was an important factor in becoming a leader in my Bangladesh community in my university. When I first came to Malaysia after finishing my first day class I was looking for my country mates. At that time I didn’t find anyone. But when my all the classes fully started I found some of the people from my country. Then after finishing our class work we passed time together every day. In this way I was getting introduced with other Bangladeshi people. But what I found that our community is not well bonded. Even while I was talking to them, I found that they have some issues but they cannot resolve their issues because of proper direction. The main problem I noticed that we are here with so many people from the same country but we cannot represent our country in the right way. But I have found that students from other countries, their community are so strong and they are well connected. Even I got the information that in other universities in Malaysia, students from Bangladesh are maintaining a very strong connection among themselves. They I came back to my people and arranged a get together and discussed among ourselves how we can build a strong community and make our bonding strong. Then I shared my ideas and views with them and we have decided that we will celebrate our national festivals here what we do in our country in different occasions and execute other plans so that we can represent our country in a proper way and our main intention was to go other people from other country and let them know our culture and traditions. But at that time one of my teammates suggest that to implement all those things we need proper guidance and we need one leader. Then after taking everyone’s opinion they selected me as their new leader.

Then finally first day came to show my leadership is that we celebrated our Bangla New Year festival in our campus and we setup our traditional food stall with our other traditional staffs. We got huge crowd and everyone appreciated our initiatives. Finally, all of my teammates praised my all steps I taken to make this successful one. In this way, we also celebrated our others festivals in our campus and we became one of the successful community in my university. In the same way I became true leader among my teammates.

After that I also discussed with my teammates with other issues they are facing and then I got they have complain about management issues, students service issues, lab difficulties and accommodation issues. After collecting all the information I talked to other community leaders and I felt that as I am leading one community so I am the only person to step forward to resolve their issues as they have strong faith upon me. At the same time, I also thought that I have to go forward not only for betterment of my community but also for other students. Then I talked to the authority with my issues. Firstly, I point out that our student service activity is not quick enough and even sometimes they are not cordial enough to the students. I tried to let them convince that all the process should be done easy way so that students can get easy and fast service. Secondly, I talked about our lab facilities issues. I mentioned that we have enough computers on our but there is no proper use especially what I tried to understand them is that besides computers we have no other equipment so that we can resolve our hardware issues. Even I also mentioned them in some courses there are some topics they are learning through their notebook but they have no chance to get this knowledge practically. I urged them to implement these setup quickly. Lastly, I also figure out about accommodation issues that authority is taking high rent from the students and at the same time they are taking six months deposits at a time. I got many students they want to take university accommodation facilities but they lose their interest when they see that they have to pay high rent and a huge amount of deposits. Then, I suggest them to make it more flexible for the student’s convenience. Throughout all of the initiatives I have taken I got some of result from our authority but not fully and I hope authority will keep on their eyes in these issues and try to solve these problems as soon as possible.

I was able to draw upon my leadership and group experiences to easily adapt into my team and the culture at Communication Concepts which is very team oriented. Though my leadership and my intelligence I was getting to become a very loyal to my community as a true leader as well as by executing my plans. I have always led by example demonstrating hard work and making good decisions on and off but half way through last season an opportunity presented itself in front of me to become a vocal leader. My road as a leader has taken me through many adversities, but I have used those adversities as learning experiences to help me grow as a leader. The greatest things in life are the same things you have to work the hardest for and becoming a good leader has been no different for me.

Juxtaposition

Leaders drive projects and people to the finish line. They are like freight trains, unstoppable forces that will plough through any obstacle that gets in their way. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they take over through people that get in their way. A good leader, will push teamwork rather than individual achievements.

Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves, it’s amazing what they can accomplish.

A good leader has an exemplary character. It is of utmost importance that a leader is trustworthy to lead others. A leader needs to be trusted and be known to live their life with honestly and integrity. A good leader “walks the talk” and in doing so earns the right to have responsibility for others. True authority is born from respect for the good character and trustworthiness of the person who leads.
